Carolyn WoodSeptember 24, 2023We recently used AUF to take down a number of trees in our condo community. Graham and his team were excellent from start to finish. There were some very large dead trees that proposed logistical issues, all of which were handled with incredible skill and patience. One tree was close to a neighbor’s property and they kindly gave us easy access to taking down the tree. As a courtesy and thanks to that neighbor, Graham had his crew take down a tree for her — gratis! We plan to use AUF to do an annual review of the health of our trees so that we can be better stewards of our grounds. - c.woodPosted on Google
Nancy PurvisSeptember 22, 2023AUF took down a very large Oak tree next to our pool. They covered the pool and were extremely careful not to damage anything. The crew was very professional. I would highly recommend them to anyone!Posted on Google
Will BradfordSeptember 22, 2023I’m a younger homeowner with a historic home, so I am used to contractors trying to do too much or overcharge. Graham and his team were a welcome relief from this, offering good recommendations on how to manage our trees and performing the work in a timely and professional manner with no trace left on the rest of our property (honestly have no idea how they did this given the size of branches the removed). I plan to use them for all my future needs and recommend them to everyone I know.Posted on Google
Jennifer LongSeptember 20, 2023Quick quotation, professional crew made quick work of removing 2 small and one large tree, did not make a mess of the yard and cleaned up all debris. Highly recommend and we will use them again if needed.Posted on Google
Matt DixonApril 21, 2023One of Graham’s crews just finished up at my house. I was seriously impressed and likely was one of those dreaded clients standing out on their back deck watching. Those guys are pros. There were two power lines, two fences, and a parked car they needed to avoid while bringing down 2 medium sized and 1 big limbs. 5/5 would and will use them again. Pricing was solid and once on site they worked quick.Posted on Google

I emphatically agree with Stuart S. review. We had IMO, some challenging large tree removal and shaping duties for whomever was going to do the work. I contacted Graham and we were able to meet quickly to discuss the project. Very easy to agree on financial terms and conditions, and the best part is, AL Urban Forestry met, better yet exceeded end result expectations. The Site mgr. Roger was very attentive throughout and offered on the fly advice. The crew was nothing less than 1st class and the ease at which they performed their respective tasks, was quite refreshing to observe. All wood and debris was thoroughly removed the day of the work performed and not left sitting out in front of my house for days and days, like I have seen so many other tree services do. I highly recommend AL Urban Forestry and wish I could find other service providers of the same caliber. Should be 6 Stars if it were possible.Posted on Google

Sean CrowleyFebruary 16, 2023I had them remove two large trees leaning over house. Price was much less than others wanted to charge. The crew that came out was extremely professional and all looked like they loved their jobs (tough find in this profession). The removal process was so impressive my neighbor said he had wished he filmed it! These guys are definitely masters of their trade. Had one small issue with the second haul of limbs, called them and they apologized and took care of it immediately! With the work the crew did, and the responsiveness of the main building when I called, I will use these guys for life! Absolutely the best around, PERIOD!Posted on Google

Jessica DeasonJuly 25, 2022This is by far the best tree service in the Birmingham area! Graham and his team were friendly, efficient, knowledgeable, professional and extremely reasonable. I'd heard of them through word of mouth and all the rave reviews were absolutely true. They removed three trees, ground the stumps, trimmed branches of other trees that were touching our roof, cleaned up all debris and even blew off my back deck for good measure! It's truly like the crew and the trees were never there. Can't say enough good things about this company! Wish more businesses were run with this much integrity.Posted on Google

T-Raye DennisJuly 2, 2022
Great job by the crew! Only problem was confusion about the debris. They told me it would be left at my parent's home to be picked up by another company four days later. This was not okay for me and I called the office to question this. My understanding was that they would haul everything away after they cut down the tree. It took about 15 minutes going back and forth between the crew, secretary and owner to get that sorted. I also had to call to find out how I would receive my invoice. I provided my email and the invoice was sent with a link included to make my payment. Aside from those two bumps, I was very pleased with company and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them or use them again. A neighbor asked for their details. She may have them remove a tree on her property. Thanks to Graham and the crew that came out!+0Posted on Google

Justin JoffrionApril 23, 2022I’ve known Graham (owner?) from years of being neighbors, and he is the same gentleman in business as he is in the neighborhood. These guys (Graham & Roger) provide excellent communication & logistical coordination, they are extremely considerate of all things Customer Service, and the product that they delivered was thorough and timely. Exactly as promised. Roger even made sure I was happy before they packed up. People don’t do that enough these days. By the way, the price was way less than other quotes that my neighbors got. When they met Graham to look at my trees, he snatched up 2 of my neighbors too lol. Thanks guys!Posted on Google

Christina OrdinarioJuly 8, 2021Graham and his team were super easy to work with. We had to large trees trimmed, a dead portion of a tree removed, 2 different kinds of swings installed, and 3 "trash trees" removed. I was most pleased with how easy it was to communicate with Graham; like most people, I work very busy hours and found it hard to set aside time to call during the week to get information, schedule a estimate, etc. Graham was easily accessible via email and text throughout the process, start to finish. He did exactly what he said he was going to do, updated us on any changes in the plan, and didn't ask for payment until we were satisfied. Highly recommend reaching out to Graham and his team at AUF!+0Posted on Google
Elizabeth StewartJune 22, 2021We had the best experience with Graham and his team! Not only did he respond to my inquiry almost immediately, but was out the next day to give me a quote. The quote was very transparent and fair! They worked nonstop until the job was done and ended up cutting down more trees than in the original quote with no additional cost to us! They were so respectful of our property, stumps ground all the way down, blew all the leaves and debris out of yard and drive way and put all of our furniture back, leaving our property even better than they found it! We had a very large tree that was over our house, touching our deck and hanging over a power line so we were weary of the task but they tackled it like true professionals and not intimidated by the job in the least bit! We have already recommended Alabama Urban Forestry to all of our family and friends and cannot wait to use them again!Posted on Google

Ray CrockerMay 31, 2021Graham and his team were very knowledgeable and professional. They removed several trees and old stumps. All debris was promptly taken off site. They also trimmed several trees for us that we didn’t want to lose. They trimmed them strategically to prevent splitting and allowed the trees to be saved. I can’t recommend Graham and his team more highly. Tom VApril 24, 2021I'm so happy to have found AUF. Graham and his team were an absolute joy to work with. Right on time, fast and thorough without a hint of carelessness. Also the best price. All in all a great value, and wonderful experience.Posted on Google
Robert RodichApril 12, 2021AUF arrived the morning of the scheduled day ready to get started. They did a good job cleaning up my property after 20 trees were downed by a tornado. The owner, Graham Henderson, was on site during the work directing activities and working alongside the crew. Not only were the trees removed, but the remaining debris was removed leaving a clean site.Posted on Google
Angela CoxheadApril 2, 2021Graham and his guys went above and beyond!!! We hired them after a tornado hit our backyard. They worked hard to get it done quickly, and competently. They were reasonably priced, but did a spectacular job!! They even rebuilt our fire pit! And, redistributed the gravel we had under our once trampoline (tornado destroyed it). They didn’t drive their Bobcat on our lawn like I’ve seen some tree services do in our neighborhood. I just can’t say enough good things about these guys! We had so many companies that I believe were trying to take advantage of us during this disaster! You wouldn’t believe the difference in the estimates! Graham and his guys are authentic good guys!Posted on Google

Music BhamMarch 13, 2021After seeking 7+ estimates, I was lucky to find Graham Henderson and his extremely knowledgeable, capable and skilled crew. They offer the very best value in tree and debris removal industry for Birmingham and surrounding areas. They did not up-charge us based on our zip code, and they went above and beyond to exceed our satisfaction. Once they begin, they do not sit still, and will work to find things to do to make the most of their time and your investment. While with us, they took it upon themselves to blow leaves, grind additional stumps, grade undulation and anything within the scope of their expertise... and they didn’t even have to be asked. Once complete, I was amazed at how clean and kept they left my property. They will see to it that you get your money’s worth, and will even return to complete the smallest of tasks if their day did not allow. They communicated along the way so we were always in the know and without question, instilling further confidence in my money spent. These guys are the best in the business and an absolute pleasure to do business with!Posted on Google

Cody BlackmanOctober 10, 2019Graham and AUF are hands-down the best tree service in Birmingham. I had a large 60 year old white oak looming over my home and within a week the tree was gone. Almost no evidence that a tree was in it's place. Graham is honest about his assessments and what work needs to be done. I had 3 other tree services survey around my house and essentially tell me all the trees needed to come down. Graham spotted only the problem trees and groomed the others so they could remain healthy. Not to mention the price was more than fair compared to other companies. Highly recommended!Posted on Google
